Super Visa
A super visa is an official document that lets you visit your children or grandchildren for up to 2 years at a time. It’s a multi-entry visa that provides multiple entries for a period of up to 10 years.
To be eligible to apply for Super Visa, you must fulfill the certain requirements:
Be the parent or grandparent of a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada
Have a signed letter from your child or grandchild who invites you to Canada
The person who signs for you must ensure to financially support you, provide their occupancy in their household, and provide proof of being a permanent resident or citizen.
That same individual must provide Canadian health insurance coverage (valid for 1 year or more) for at least $100,000 and have proof that the medical insurance has been paid.
The person who invites you must prove that he/she meets the requirement of minimum necessary income according to his/her family size
